No but really...another great page! Its not easy to have like...2 or more scenes going on at once in one page aaand you pulled it off quite well, I'd say!
Snow? What is such a thing XD. Here in "Way-too-freakin'-sunny" Southern California I'm hoping for even just ONE day of rain X'D
Anyways can't wait to see what's going to happen! Yet...at the same time.. I don't wanna see. Sheesh what conflicting feelings QAQ
Thank you very much! If you don't like blood and guts and death, you can maybe close your eyes and skip over those panels?? '0'
My brother and his family live in San Jose. I fell in love with California when I visited them.
I hope the upcoming pages wont disappoint you!!!
*cheers for Piper's family*
Piper's family is the best!
Aw man everything is really falling into place!
(Jesus Skweeee those naturey shots!!! Gorgeous!)
I hope you wont be mad when you find out what happens to Bebber.. D:
Thanks. I really am enjoying making my backgrounds more than I had thought.
For Piper's family's sake, here's hoping all doesn't backfire in the wrong direction.
I really like these snapshots of the involved characters right before the main event, it shows their game-face/what's coming up soon really well.
The only big player we haven't heard from is Lili, I think. I'm terribly curious to see what she's come up with. :)
Wonderful page, Skweeee! I love how carefree Piper is.
There's a conversation with Lili on the next page that will likely leave you with more questions than answers though. However, you'll learn that she's a player in this game as well. That's all I'll say about that.
Thank you very much Spelledeg!!
Solution to snow problems: move to Florida. I did that this last August, and I've almost forgotten what snow even looks like (not really, since 39 years of exposure have etched it into my brain).
Bring on the MurderDeathKill! :)
Florida sounds nice! I should definitely visit there one day.
Don't you worry, I've brought extra buckets for all the MDK (murder death kill)
That's all I got to say.
I will get it out of my system, for sure.
The last line in your comment made my day. xD
I am going to assume that you agree with my priorities. It's always comics.. always.
I don't count "luck" or coincidence as plot holes, but yes, there is something unsatisfying with such, so it's much much better when there's an underlying reason. :D
Have you seen Willow? It's perfect how the protagonist wins the day in the end. He just didn't so happen to come apon a magical solution in the end. He utilized his disappearing pig trick that he had used in the beginning of the film. Too many Science Fiction and Fantasy stories fall on the magical fix-all device to save the day. IE Star Wars, if you shoot down a certain hole on the Death Star, it explodes. (BTW I love Star Wars anyways)
But yes, that's a cool solution - using something which has been there all the time.
A magical fix-all device can also work, but only when getting it is part of the main plot. Otherwise it's just 'meh', cheating as well as boring. There may be exceptions, like 'The War of the Worlds'. But the author needs a very good reason for doing it that way.
War of the Worlds is an excellent example. Basically humanity is out gunned, but is saved by something we all know about and take for granted. So clever for its time.
Larry Niven is probably my favorite Science Fiction author. Then Arthur C Clark.
I haven't read them ...yet. But I hear a lot of good things about them, so I think I some day will. :D
The one in our area closed down, so I'm pretty much out of luck.
That will be good for all of us comic lovers. because I think it means better quality comics.
I live on the outskirts of Edmonton, so there is a choice of ones to go to.
I have relatives in Resolute Bay and Iqaluit!!
I am so done with winter. We haven't gotten any more snow, but with highs of 10F, I'd take 35F and snowing any day.
It's -5C today.
I'm hoping for a nice long summer this year.
+1
(I love the way you draw any outdoor scenery, it's incredible how easy you make it seem!)
I'm glad you're eager to see what's next.
Thank you. I didn't realize how much I liked drawing scenery until the last year or so.
;-)
HEY, you should post your next update on a Saturday!!!
*rubbing hands together*
I'm SO looking forward to this!!!!
I'm really liking your character Don, please don't go and kill him!!! :-0
Hmmmmm, post on a Saturday... (you're reading my mind - gasp!!!) *looks over his shoulder*!
Don is one of my favorites too!
As a kid in the 70's I called it cartoon day.
