I went through my comic on the weekend, tried my best to find and correct all of my grammar and spelling mistakes. I think I did a good job, but realistically there's probably something that I've missed.

Secondly, I've been attempting to do a crosslinks thing in one of my page tabs. Please be patient with me cause I want to try and figure it out myself before I bug people for help.

I mostly try to update on weekends, but this was an easier page, and I'm always excited about getting a new page out there.

Drop a comment if you like. I like to chit chat.

Uh oh! Where was that dog this time.;D
I just love the color here. The purpleness of night and the yellowness of the lights work so nicely together.

Thans Seabiscuit. I'm glad you like the colourss because I spent a bat op time trying to get it jyst right.

(I'm typing around my cat, so I thought you'd appreciate me leaving the mistakes in. Koshka's way of saying hi)

Oh wow I love the way you draw hair. It's super pretty on this page!

Thank you. Well drawn hair is one of my favorite things to look at in a comic.

I can actually feel the cold. I need to turn up my thermostat.

Thanks. Me too. Only because it's actually cold up here in St Albert right now.

The dog really dropped the ball on this one!

Great page! You capture the weather really well.
Skweeee edit delete reply
Skweeee
Ah thanks man! I need only look out my window for reference at the moment. I think I'm going to spark up my fireplace today.

BTW 'Sleeper, I'm probably going to bug you later about my crosslinks page. Struggling just a little bit.

Thanks DomDijon! I used to hate drawing hair, but I've just started to like making. I'm still in the experimental stages though.

Sleepwalking? I thought she was just heading out to the liquor store to stock up for the winter. Oh wait, she's under-age, phoney ID maybe????
Skweeee edit delete reply
Skweeee
No way Mo!! How could you even think that!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Oh wait, this takes place in Northern Alberta... touche'.

Piper would never do that, and neither would Robin for that matter. Bebber, on the other hand...

I love how stylistically you draw wind. I really love that technique.
Skweeee edit delete reply
Skweeee
Thanks Stever. This was my first attempt at drawing wind and blizzardy stuff. So I'm glad it looks somewhat like wind.

Speaking of snow storms. Are you getting any of that white stuff like Buffalo?
Stever edit delete reply
Stever
We've gotten some snow, but thankfully we've remained clear of any big storms.
Skweeee edit delete reply
Skweeee
I've lived close to the Great Lakes before and it's amazing the amount of snow that can fall in the span of a couple of days.
Do you guys call it the 'lake effect' as well??
Stever edit delete reply
Stever
Yep, fortunately we're just far enough away to not get effected by it.

I like the way you use the cross hatching to show the blustery wind. Your colors have a very classic feel to them as well.
Skweeee edit delete reply
Skweeee
I'm glad you've said that about my colouring. I'm a sucker for European comics. I especially like those older ones done in the "Ligne claire" style. I've always plugged away at comicy art my whole life, but colour is relatively new for me. So getting a classic feel is a major victory for me man!! Thank you.

Thanks Sephirencomics!

You would think that her family would be a bit more vigilant with reference to her sleepwalking.

Oh well, it's a convenient plot device.

I'm currently facing incredibly cold temperatures this winter season and I have to say I don't enjoy it. I'm wondering if it's supposed to be winter or it's just always snowing all the time. I've never been to Canada, so I'm just curious.
Skweeee edit delete reply
Skweeee
If you mean within the story, that's easy. The story so far has only spanned about a little less than a month. Spring is coming, but not for a couple of months yet.

Depends where you live in Canada too. I live in St Albert, Alberta (the number one small city in Canada BTW). It can get pretty cold here in the winter where the sun is up for a few hours a day.

but in the summer it's awesome because it's literally the polar opposite where it's super hot and the sun will be setting around 11pm and coming up around 3am ish. Mid summer most towns in Canada would be indistinguishable from most towns in the U.S., for the most part as far as greenery and trees etc.

She is far to young to be having a senor moment. Who am I? Where am I at? Where is my medication?

Yep, and I'm at just the right age to have a senior moment.

again..super way to play with pov...angles to make it interactive. Good work
Skweeee edit delete reply
Skweeee
Thanks Shinka! I've never thought much about POV. Though now that you've brought it up, I think when I'm visualizing the story, it's playing out like a movie in my head. That's how I sort of see it and try my best to make it look like I had imagined.

Woah! I love the color intensity on this page. I'm wondering what Piper will run into out in the cold since we don't know how far out she is. Ooo, I wonder if I'm right with what's coming up. :)

Thank you Spelledeg!! I would put money on it, that you're probably right about what's coming next.
