If there was any doubt that Bebber was nasty, I am hoping this page kinda settles it.

Wow, awesome work, man. This guy is ruthless. :-D

Thanks man. Yeah, for my story to work the way that I want it, he needs to be that way.

A switchblade sword is definitely going on my christmas list!

Santa's Elve's had best be careful when making it.

I'm telling you: a short time from now we will all be watching pipers song on fx in the 11 pm slot. But I'm getting ahead of myself. If I were you I would definitely submit to image comics or top shelf productions. I see no reason with your art and storytelling why you couldn't end up doing what the guy from the walking dead did

Skweeee
Thanks man. That is a very kind compliment. I do like to dream...

I'd love it if your dream was made a reality, by the way.

The red of the blood keeps the eye-flow going, and the dialogue is realistic.
Dang, I want a switchblade sword now. XD
Fantastic page!

Thanks so much Clanjack. I always appreciate your comments, as you are always aware of the artistic processes behind the production of a comic.

Switchblade sword? I thought it was a hockey stick?

Skweeee
I know!! Right!??

Now I just need a blacksmith to make me this sword.
Skweeee edit delete reply
Skweeee
I wonder if there is an actual spring strong enough to swing that blade all the way around and then a locking mechanism to hold it without snapping?
sephirencomics edit delete reply
sephirencomics
That's a huge switchblade sword.
Skweeee edit delete reply
Skweeee
Yeah, it almost ends up like a naginata due to the fact that the blade needs to fold into the handle like a normal switch-blade.
Ruxin edit delete reply

Congrats on making it into the most popular comics.

Skweeee
Thanks man! I didn't realize that was a thing. I'm just glad others are looking at my comic. :D

I just love a good killer psycho. That blade is awesome!
Skweeee edit delete reply
Skweeee
My story needs a psycho-killer for it to unfold the way that I want. I have a sketch of what I think the schematics of the folding mechanism would be. I wonder if I should post it.
Skyangel edit delete reply
Skyangel
Oooh nasty!!!! And I thought he was going to be a good guy
Skweeee edit delete reply
Skweeee
Thanks! Yes he is very bad, however remember my 3 R's of storytelling; Revenge, Romance, and REDEMPTION.

most of my stories require a psycho killer to start it off xD dude, this is amazing. seriously. can't wait to see the upcoming shit. Bebber kinda reminds me of the 'magic murder man' but without the laugh in his eye. VERY effective intimidating character. sorry to gush, i just fucking love this.
Skweeee edit delete reply
Skweeee
Thanks Fig! Don't worry about the gushing. You probably don't realize how pleased I am to read your posts.
Fig edit delete reply
Fig
i can only answer as to how it makes me personally feel to receive comments, and only God knows how to satiate my lust for the stuff xD seriously though, so far this deserves all the gushing i could possibly do at once.... in a platonic manner. i would buy this shit and read it every day. and then weep for my inadequacy.

About a decade ago when I was a little more unabashedly geeky, I used to buy swords online on a site called Weaponmaster. They had a sword that was similar in make to Bebber’s, however it was not remotely practical and users complained of it’s tendency to fall apart upon opening. One user said that he mounted it on his wall, and weeks later it fell apart, unprovoked. Seems like Bebber has worked out the kinks in the design.
Skweeee edit delete reply
Skweeee
Yeah. I think it would be quite the task to engineer something like this that would actually work. I'm sure it's possible, but there would be many problems to solve.
