The tension thickens...
I wonder whose gonna be faster with which weapon.
Skweeee edit delete reply
Outlawkion1, I suppose I had better show who's the baddest 'bad-ass' of them all sooner rather than later.

Hmm... gun vs broken hockey stick;
Why do I still feel like Bebber's got the advantage here? :)
Awesome job, I love the perspective in panel 2, and the detail put into the veins in the hand.
Skweeee edit delete reply
Thanks Clanjack. I've been drawing Bebber tough for some time now. I suppose I should show with deeds and not suggestions.
Stever edit delete reply
I really like the interior you did in the top panel with him all kicked back. Looks like things are getting tight ;D
Skweeee edit delete reply
Stever, thanks! Yeah, I guess I owe some violence now since I have tagged this for language and violence and have reached page 20 with just some foul swear words.

Mullet guy is about to be so dead! (or at least gravely injured)
Skweeee edit delete reply
K. Tipping, your intuition is at 'mastered' level. Though I have to say I may be trying to telegraph this as the story progresses. Though I'm glad your getting the vibes I'm trying to create.

What does " D'hare bai" mean?
Skweeee edit delete reply
D'hare Bai is my attempt at trying to portray the Newfoundlander accent phonetically. It's just him saying 'there, boy'. Very common and well used by many 'Newfies.' I have had the pleasure of knowing many in my time in the Canadian military.
Skyangel edit delete reply
I have a feeling the next page is going to be bloody!! Really love that top panel and so much detail as always. Lovely angle on the second panel too. XD
Skweeee edit delete reply
Thanks. Skyangel, I think that your 'angel-sense' is correct in the assumption that things are about to heat up.
demcleod edit delete reply
I'm surprised the Canadian with the mullet in this strip isn't the one wielding the hockey stick. Pardon my stereotyping, I just think that would have been funny. XD
Skweeee edit delete reply
Demcleod, you've accurately identified about a quater of the dudes who live in the Edmonton area! I don't think you're stereotyping, I think your 'describing.'
IllustratorMan edit delete reply
Another addictive page! Great art but...

that guy is clearly clinging to the 80s as he slowly wastes away. :D
Skweeee edit delete reply
Hey IllustratorMan! Thanks. Haha, You nailed it on describing Mr Wayven. Couldn't have said it better than that. (^_^)9"
sephirencomics edit delete reply
The last panel tells me that there's going to be a lot of action in the next page...
Skweeee edit delete reply
Sephirencomics, I shall do my best to meet your expectations.
Jams edit delete reply
Some very excellent work on this page, top panel especially. And I particularly love the perspective on the legs in the last panel.
Skweeee edit delete reply
Thanks Jams. I've been using my son as a model for reference whenever I struggle with getting the pose and angle that I want.
Songgu Kwon edit delete reply
Songgu Kwon
Good comic... serious mullet... I dig the Canadianese, eh... subbed.
Skweeee edit delete reply
Thanks Songgu Kwon. Knowing the superb level of your art in your comics, makes me feel like I really need to step up my game.
ATHENA SCULPTURE edit delete reply
I think you nailed the Newfie dialect. I'm already interested in this guy. I wonder how long he will be around for?
Skweeee edit delete reply
Won't be around for long, though I think I might add some more Newfies to the story later on.
afraker edit delete reply
That last panel tells it's going to get noisy.
Skweeee edit delete reply
Noisy, maybe, unless Bebber can do something about it. :D
moizmad edit delete reply
You should get the Trailer Park Boys make a guest appearance Skweeeeeeeeeeeeeeee.
Skweeee edit delete reply
Mo, I think you've got something there. I should be able to draw on my childhood memories. I spent the better part of my youth growing up in a trailer park in Lincoln New Brunswick.
iggycrypt edit delete reply
That's a mighty fine haircut.
Skweeee edit delete reply
I know a couple of guys who think the mullet is the key to wooing all women. They're still rockin it.
Sleeper edit delete reply
This made no sense until I figured out the correct accent to read it in.

Then it became solid gold
Skweeee edit delete reply
Ha ha ha. Yeah, the Newfoundlander way of speaking. It's quite unique in a jolly kind of way.
