Great job establishing these characters. I feel like I have a solid understanding of the kind of people they are, after only two pages of them altogether.

Thanks Clanjack! I often struggle with trying to create realistic dialog. This time I found that between these characters, their dialog wrote itself. I enjoyed creating the banter.

The bottom middle is panel has great impact.

Thank you Stever. It's encouraging to know that I'm getting the effect I wanted to create in that panel.

That middle panel is so intimidating. Effective shading.

Thanks. I had made a huge mistake with that panel. I started crosshatching like a madman until I started liking it again. As far as the lighting goes, I can honestly say that I have been studying yours and others comics and been trying to improve my colouring.

Wow... This page is masterfully done. Bravo!

Outlawkion1, thank you. I actually put thought into how I placed the mysterious dark character centered in the page as you scroll down the page.

I think maybe he should be a little more careful how he talks to the 'guy' in the back who looks incredibly sinister! Really loved reading through the archive and I'm looking forward to keeping up with it now.

Thank you Skyangel! You've made my day. One of the great features of this forum is finding feedback on a comic page I've made. I will often check and recheck my pages in hopes of finding new comments. Imagine my delight in finding all of your thoughtful comments on my statistics page. I appreciate the time you took to make observations as you did. Thank you again.

Great job establishing these guys! I feel like I'm watching a Cohen brothers movie....and it helps the guy with the pink "B" on his cap looks like Bobby weir from the grateful dead

Thanks. I'm a fan of the Cohen brothers' films, so it doesn't surprise me that my love of the moods and tones that they set in their movies has influenced my leanings in story-telling.

I agree with IM, panel 4 is tops.

Thankyou. It was the one I was most pleased with in the end.

This page does have a distinct "Fargo" vibe to it.

Skweeee
Thanks Slim Kittens. I love the movie 'Fargo', so that is kind what I was going for.

Oh, yes it is. And, they had better be a lot more careful around him. He's serious trouble.

Woah. The shading in this whole page is fantastic. I actually love the way you hatch everything. It really flows.

Ah! Thank you. If only I had the time. I had to abandon this style because it was so time consuming. If I do a comic that is strictly black and white in the future I would like to revisit the crosshatching again.

Love the face on the man in the third panel.

Ah thanks man. I was trying my hand with crosshatching on this page! It was a lot a work and gobbled too much time in the end so I started to abandon this technique.
