How much did you have to pay Wilford Brimley to model for this comic? :D

Panel 4 is pure MAGIC. I love that angle and coloring!

Yeah. That's about as cliched as you can get for designing a grandpa character. Thanks, eh!

Such a nice diligent granddaughter.

I'm liking this a lot.I can't wait to see if and how these two worlds come together. The first part has nice weirdness to it.
Skweeee edit delete reply
Thanks. I promise that it will intersect as the story unfolds.

I'm not sure where this story is set but it feels like they lead a pretty basic existence without too much modern technology.

They live somewhere in the Northern half of Albert Canada, in a town I made up called Foxtail Creek.

Never heard of it, or anything like it in Northern Alberta, *L* I certainly don’t pass by anything similar on my way to visit the folks.

This is really good work thus far, and I still have 39 pages to your current one, so things will only get better. But your camera angles, compositions, choose of framing and pace are all very well chosen. Onward to more pages!

Thanks Ryan!!! That means a lot.
